<p><span style="color:#000000;">Toen ik de deur van mijn atelier open deed, stond ze daar terug dominant te wezen.<br />
De tafel van mijn moeder, waar een gezin met 8 kinderen aan zijn opgegroeid, waar er iedere dag opnieuw gesprekken gevoerd werden. Het huis te klein, de tafel te groot.<br />
Ik kon er geen afstand van nemen, de tafel had een aura vol verhalen, verhalen uit het huis van mijn ouders. Mijn tempel, waar ik kon bezinnen, rusten en mezelf zijn, een dag doorbrengen zonder zorgen; mijn tweede huid.<br />
Het werd tijd om afstand te nemen van deze tafel. Daarom bouwde ik met deze tafel een tempel die er niet meer is, opgegaan in rook, wierook en tranen.</span></p>
